End-of-Life Announcement

Support for the NC State Shortcodes plugin will be ending on December 31, 2021. In the coming months, we encourage anyone who relies on this plugin to upgrade to the WordPress block editor and to use the successor NC State Blocks plugin.

Overview

NC State Shortcodes is a multi-purpose plugin that allows users to easily add common elements to their posts and pages. These post elements are added via shortcode, eg. [element]. The links below describe usage and supported attributes for each shortcode included in this plugin.

In addition, these shortcodes have a built-in user interface, making it easy for non-technical users to add and preview them in the WordPress Visual Editor, and without requiring users to memorize attributes or their accepted values. This user interface requires that an additional plugin be installed on your site.
